This myth I think is one of my favorites because it's underlined subject of wisdom. How wisdm can overpower anything or anyone and also how can wisdom destroy someone like it destroyes the shpinx. I think think wisdom is the greatest gift and power God could've given to man but it is also our destructor if we learn to to use it properly.
And this is exactly what I think the sphinx represents. Wisdom not being used in the right way and how that wisom destroyed her and le the one who used it wisely prevail.

I think you are right when you say that wisdom is one of mans greatest gifts and that we have to be careful because it can also lead to our destruction.
I also think that wisdom is one of the greatest gifts because we relly on wisdom to take correct descicions. If he didnt have any wisdom at all, we'd all be loosers with nothing to do but cry.
Overall, I think your blog becomes a lot more appealing when you add pictures to it so I think that is a nice detail. Also I think wisdom is a very broad subject. You do give some events from the text, but you don't actually explain what the sphinx did to lose her knowledge.
